Jamie Lynn Spears made huge waves 6 years ago when she announced she was pregnant at the age of 16. The then-Disney star had to leave her successful Zoey 101 show and moved back to her home in Tennesse. Now at the age of 22, and her daughter Maddie 5, the younger Spears is making her way back in to the limelight.
Having hid out of site much of the time, Jamie Lyn Spears has been popping up more recently with a guest spot on her sister’s not-so-successful Britney Jean singin the duet “Chillin’ With You” and just released her own single “How Could I Want More”.
2013 also brought an engagement for Spears with long-time boyfriend Jamie Watson, 9 years her senior, and she recently posted a picture on Instagram of a shirtless Watson, Spears dressed up, and the couple holding Maddie in pajamas with the caption “Attempting a family photo! @jamiewatson985.”
While recently promoting her music, Jamie Lynn Spears performed in Georgia and paid tribute to her sister Britney by mixing in “Oops!…I Did It Again” with her song “Ms. Mississippi”.
Spears is reportedly still working on her next album which is due early 2014.
