John Mayer and Katy Perry appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning to debut their music video for "Who You Love,” which is off of Mayer’s album Paradise Valley.
Mayer seemed proud of the video, which featured the singing duo and other couples riding mechanical bulls and catching them in romantic moments.
"We set up the casting call for real couples," he explained after its debut, Us Weekly reports. "There was nothing scripted in that video, except putting the bull in the middle of the desert."
The PRISM singer even turned it into a metaphor, saying “Relationships are kind of like riding a bull: You hold on for dear life. Sometimes you get a little buck here and there, but you get back on."
In early December, Mayer shared the single cover on Instagram. “’Who You Love’ is here. Proud of this song, proud of this artwork, proud of this girl,” he wrote.
