Lana Del Rey has made a huge impression on the music industry in 2013 with her first album, Born to Die. Following the success of Born to Die, Rey has announced that she will be releasing a new album in 2014 titled, Ultra-Violence.
The singer revealed the name during a launch event for her new short film Tropico, reported NME. Rey took to the stage to talk with fans before the film debuted. Rey addressed the audience saing, "I really just wanted us all to be together so I could visually close the chapter before I release my new album, Ultra-Violence."
Little is known about the upcoming album, other than the fact that it will be released sometime in 2014. , Music Times added.
When fans download the film, Tropico they will also receive an EP which will feature three songs which are all originally heard on Born To Die. Born To Die was released back in 2012.
