Lea Michele has debuted her second single off her debut album Louder. “Battlefield” is a follow-up to her first single, “Cannonball,” which she released just this month.
On the same day of the release, the Glee star, 27, took to Twitter to tease, “Eye to eye we face our fears unarmed on the battlefield..."

The new song is an empowering, piano-driven track that could easily turn into a break-up anthem. It boasts such lyrics as "What seemed like a good idea has turned into a battlefield/We both know it's coming/does illusion count for something?...You and I/we have to let each other go/peace will come/when one of us puts down the gun,” E! Online reports.

The song was written by Sia Furler and Lawrence Golding produced it, according to AceShowBiz. Michele’s debut album will hit shelves on March 4 but it’s already available for fans who want to pre-order it.
