One Direction secured their second number one the UK album chart with their latest release, Midnight Memories. Midnight Memories features the hit singles, “Best Song Ever” and “Story of My Life.” Midnight Memories has out sold the top five albums on the charts combined.

According to, Reuters, the album sold over 237,000 copies in the first week, this make it the fastest selling album of 2013 in the U.K.

The boy band’s debut album, Up All Night reached number top on the charts in 2011 and their second album, Take Me Home reached number one in 2012. Both albums from One Direction topped the music charts in the United States.

Taking the second place on the U.K. charts was Gary Barlow and in third place was U.K. music sensation, Robbie Williams.

The boy bands single, “Story of My Life,” is expected to come in third place on the singles charts. Taking the top stop was Calvin Harris and Alesso featuring Hurts with their new track, “Under Control,” reported The Guardian.
