Wu-Tang Clan frontman RZA wrote and recorded a song in honor of Paul Walker, who tragically passed away Saturday night in a car crash.

According to Rolling Stone, the song is called "Destiny Bends" and features Will Wells on vocals after a short introduction by RZA. He notes that the song is merely a "sketch demo" and "not for criticism."

The rapper knew the actor from working with Walker in an upcoming film called Brick Mansions, which is currently in post-production and likely will be released in 2014. RZA said on his Soundcloud page that he and Walker "talked, laughed, and exchanged ideas of life and fatherhood" on set.

The song features a simple tune, focusing instead on the lyrics, notes Los Angeles Times. "I thought we had another day to smile, laugh in the wind / how can it end / grateful to meet you, may we meet again / Paul, my friend."

The Wu-Tang Clan frontman also writes of Paul, "I only knew him personally for less than a year, but we knew each other through our work and art. We saw in each other a kindred spirit of men coming from unlikely circumstances, and rising to be the light and beacon of our family and loved ones."

The latest news on the death of Paul Walker has police suggesting that Walker and driver Roger Rodas might have been involved in a drag race, explaining why the car was going at such a high rate of speed.
