Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun spoke to Access Hollywood regarding a radio interview that happened this week where the "Boyfriend" pop star announced that he was going to retire from music following his latest album.

Bieber spoke to Access Hollywood regarding the statement that Bieber made. "This is the fun thing about these Vines [videos] people post: they’re only a certain amount of time, so they cut off before the rest of the statement when he says ‘just kidding,’” said Scooter.

Scooter went on to explain that Bieber will not be retiring but he will be taking a break from the music industry.

"“He hasn’t taken time off since he was 12… he knows he wants it, and wants to spend time with this family. His younger brother and sister are starting to grow up and he doesn’t want to miss their childhood,” Scooter explained.

Following the latest interview, the Internet and social media networks have exploded with fans begging the artist to not retire, added Time.

Bieber's latest album, Complete My Journals will be released on on Dec. 23.
