The second trailer for The Legend Of Hercules was released, starring Kellan Lutz as the man himself on the journey to discover who he really is.
The trailer begins with Hercules fighting for his life in a coliseum, with flashes focusing on the love story between Hercules and the Princess of Crete. Unfortunately for them, she is betrothed, against her will, to his own brother by his stepfather, the King. To make matters worse, Hercules father sends him to exile in Egypt to fight for his life as a gladiator.
The origin of the story of Greek Mythology is Hercules mother, the queen, bears Hercules from an affair with the Greek God Zeus, promising Hercules destiny is to overthrow the King, restoring peace to the land. As the trailer goes forward, he learns of this destiny and must choose to fulfill it, or run off with his true love.
Even though the Twilight alum has quite the following as Entertainment Weekly suggest because of his abs-on-abs-on-abs, Screen Crush noted that this will be a hard road for the usual supporting-actor to breakthrough as a lead, especially with supporting cast including Spartacus star Liam McIntyre and action star Scott Adkins.
The Legend Of Hercules directed by Renny Harlin is set to hit theaters January 10, 2014.
