Steven James Wylie has released his latest EP Everything I Love. His musical style combines contemporary rock ‘n’ roll influences with his Christian roots.
Wylie has a personal story that many music fans can relate to. Wylie has had his fair share of ups and downs and has come out on the other side victorious, that personal struggle and victory can be heard in every song off of Everything I Love. The EP feels well crafted and thoughtfully produced.
The album feels like a well processes work of art and feels very relatable to fans. Wylie has been through the struggles that most people go through everyday, to losing your job to being low on money, this are everyday problems that people relate with. Wylie takes his musical passion and has translated everyday issues into songs that are easily relatable.
Wylie has a very unique sound but it is clear that he has pulled from some music greats when it comes to influences. His lyrical development feels like that of Dave Matthews and his guitar solos have an echo of Keith Urban and Eddie Vedder.
It is the personal flare that Wylie brings to his music that makes Everything I Love a great EP. Wylie never looses his musical roots and keeps who he is an artist the focus on the EP.
