The Edge Of Always is the latest from New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author J.A. Redmerski. It is the follow up to The Edge Of Never as the love between Camryn Bennett and Andrew Parrish continues to grow.
In the The Edge Of Always the story picks up exactly were it left off. Camryn and Andrew are living in Andrew’s home in Texas and they are expecting their first child. Only knowing each other for five months they have endured so many personal and relationship obstacles. Despite the minor and traumatic setbacks they have proved that their love remains strong and will remain forever. Andrew beat the brain tumor and is back to healthy self as they continue to live their spontaneous carefree life.
Camryn and Andrew still share the love and passion for performing. It’s even more evident that music is a major part of their life. With the anticipation of the new baby Camryn starts to wonder if their life will end up being monotonous, since they can no longer live on the road. She doesn’t regret being pregnant, but she starts to worry about the future and misses her hometown. Andrew assures her that life will continue to be the way they set out for it to be even with the baby on the way.
On their trip to Camryn’s hometown Raleigh, North Carolina an unexpected tragedy occurs. Camryn is left feeling empty and emotionally detached from everything and everyone. She starts to shut down and ignore the issues at hand; instead of dealing with all the loss she has endured her entire life. Andrew steps in and helps her find the light of happiness again. He is the key component of her finding herself again and gives her the push she needs to live life. There are many unexpected turn of events with Andrew having headaches again and the chance of the tumor returning. Their relationship is faces the ultimate test.
Andrew and Camryn take the punches as they continue coming their way. Despite of the loss and fear of the unforeseen future Andrew takes Camryn on a road trip again. In their adventure they reconnect in a deeper level than their love already was. Passion, love, sadness, crazy adventures, and acceptance is what Camryn and Andrew find on the open road.
J.A. Redmerski is an amazing writer as she captures the mind and soul of Camryn and Andrew. The dual prospective was completely flawless and makes you feel as if you are right there with the characters. I completely loved Andrew’s character even more in this book. Andrew was always a step ahead and had tricks up his sleeve. Overall this book was an amazing sequel that will have your adrenaline pumping and heart skipping a beat.
