The co-founder of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) has passed away at the age of 79.
TBN.org, the official website for TBN, announced Paul Franklin Crouch’s passing with a picture of the co-founder and the dates of both his birth and death. Clicking on the image directs the user to a site with a bio of the founder.
On the site is also an announcement of his passing: “Dr. Paul F. Crouch passed into the presence of the Lord on November 30, 2013. We are grateful for the life of this amazing servant of God. Please pray for the Crouch family during this time.”
TBN is the largest Christian TV network in the world.
The LA Times reported that Crouch had become ill in early October while visiting a TBN facility in Colleyville, TX and was taken to a local hospital.
The church said that he had experienced “heart and related health issues.” He was returned to California to seek further treatment.
His death was first made public by his grandson Brandon Crouch on Twitter:
Today, my grandfather, #PaulCrouchSr went home to be with Jesus in heaven. Thank you for your prayers… http://t.co/g7NZCYvGX4
