The two men who were caught on video tape stealing part of the Porsche Paul Walker did in have been arrested and charged with misdemeanor and felony charges. The two could each face up to four years and six months in jail if convicted.
Anathony Janow, 25-years old and 18-years old Jameson Witty have been arrested in the theft of the roof panel of the Porsche in which Paul Walker died. The two followed the flat bed tow truck that was transporting the wreckage. When the truck stopped at a light, Jameson Witty ran to the truck and stole the roof panel. Witty was caught on film stealing the piece, reports the DailyMail. Jameson Witty was later identified when he posted a picture of the stolen roof panel on the web.
Both men have been charged with destroying evidence, obstructing justice, resisting arrest and delaying a police officer. According to the The LA Times Witty was arrested and released after posting a $20,000 bail. Anthony Janow, who is said to be a professional skater, was arrested and released Tuesday morning. There is no word on whether or not Janow had to post bail.
