It has been decided that the premiere of Fast and Furious 7 will be delayed a year from its original release date of July 2014.

As previously reported by The Celebrity Cafe, Fast and Furious 7 is still going to be produced after the death of Paul Walker.

Vin Diesel posted on his Facebook page that the film is now scheduled to be released April 10, 2015. MTV News reports that Walker will appear in Fast and Furious 7, but it is still unclear how his character will be incorporated in the film.

Diesel also stated on Facebook that the last scene that he and Walker completed had a unique sense of completion to it. They were proud of the work they were doing together.

Universal shut down production of the new Fast movie in the wake of Walker’s death. While the studio is clearly ready to move forward, Universal is still at a loss in how to include Walker’s character because he still had quite a few scenes to shoot before the film was complete.

With the release date of summer 2015, many moviegoers will find the year to be a year of blockbuster hits. The new Fast film will be premiere within months of The Avengers, Terminator 5, Jurassic World and Batman v. Superman.
