Universal announced on Monday the release dates for the next Bourne flick and the Luc Besson-directed Lucy.
The follow up to Jeremy Renner's Bourne Legacy will hit theaters Aug. 14, 2015 and is currently untitled, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Fast & Furious director Justin Lin has been tapped to direct the film.
Frank Marshall returns to continue his run of producing the Bourne films and is joined by Captivate's Jeffrey Weiner and Ben Smith. Lin, as part of his Perfect Storm Entertainment, will also be involved in producing the movie.
The movie did decently well after introducing new character Aaron Cross in place of Matt Damon's Jason Bourne who was the focus of the first three films.
Luc Besson's Lucy, which stars Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman, will be released Aug. 8, 2014, Variety reports.
Lucy is about a woman who is used as a drug mule who accidentally is dosed with a drug she is smuggling and becomes endowed with superhuman powers.
