DC rapper, Wale was very angry with the staff of the music magazine, Complex magazine when they didn’t include his album, The Gifted in their “50 Best Albums of the Year” list.

According toLA Times, artists such as Daft Punk, 2 Chainz, Arcade Fire, Eminem, Drake and Kanye West made the list.
The Gifted was number 1 earlier this year and that was one of the reasons why Wale couldn’t hold his disappointment in any longer and he called the staff at Complex at their New York offices, and he let them have it.

“At this point, you know it’s got to be personal. You telling me it’s not personal. It’s like a bold face lie,” the rapper said to Complex editor, Insanul Ahmed. “To be omitted from every type of list that ya’ll do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that ya’ll can omit me, you will.”

Before Ahmed can respond, Wale started shouting, “You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine?” Then later on threatened the staff at Complex saying, “I swear to God I’ll come up to that office and start knocking n****s the fu*k out. I’ll see ya’ll tomorrow. Get the security ready.”

Then he hung up.

On Friday, Ahmed wrote on Complex.comthat he did try to get Wale’s album on the list but unfortunately he was outvoted. Complex tried to invite Wale to their offices to talk about the incident but their request was denied.
