Rebecca Black has recently released an unanticipated sequel to her YouTube hit video Friday, the sequel is appropriately entitled Saturday. Black's Saturday already has over three million views on YouTube with nearly 70,000 likes, and just over 27,000 dislikes. Black's new music video seems to be geared towards an older audience, playing on satirical stereotypes.
According to NME Black tweeted: "IT IS HERE. YES. THE OFFICIAL SEQUEL TO FRIDAY. I PRESENT TO YOU, SATURDAY."
After the release of Friday Black endured unending bullying at the hands of her peers, and her parents elected to withdraw her from school. Online viewers were no better ridiculing black, saying degrading things like "you're so fat and you'll never be pretty," "you suck at singing," "I hope you go die," and "I think you should get an eating disorder because that will make you prettier," according to ABC .
