No Sam Rockwell movie is complete without some of his dance moves. The trailer for the new comedy Better Living Through Chemistry about an unhappy Rockwell who is the local pharmacist finding, well, true lust anyway with bombshell Olivia Wilde.

Screenrant sums up the trailer as squeezing the film in a minute-fifty in a standard rom-com package. Pharmacist Douglas Varney (Rockwell) is stuck in his marriage with his control freak wife Kara (Michelle Monaghan). When the pharmacist delivery person doesn’t make his deliveries, it’s up to Douglas to the patient’s houses. Trophy wife to Elizabeth Roberts opens one of the doors and seduces Douglas, spiraling him into a life of sex, drugs and trouble with the law.

What seemed like perfectly good casting has actually taken a while to be solidified. Variety reported back in 2011 that Jennifer Garner was actually set up in the role for Elizabeth and Collider reported pharmacist Douglas Varney had Jeremy Renner originally in the role. After seeing the trailer, it seems like the right choice, at least on one part.

Also starring Ray Liotta, Ben Schwartz, and Jane Fonda, Better Living Through Chemistry, co-written and co-directed by Geoff Moore and David Posamentier, opens March 14.
