American Horror Story: Coven only has one more episode left. With all of the pieces finally coming together in the story line, the final episode should be the most revealing of them all. A new supreme will be chosen for the coven after the Seven Wonders test is completed by one of the witches. Something fans will certainly miss once the show comes to an end is the never ending supply of hilarious and timely one-liner’s that get said throughout the show. Here are some of the best quotes from last night’s second to last episode.
[new page=half baked Beetlejuice.]
Fiona Goode is never short of a witty comment. In this episode she describes the voodoo king Papa Legba as, “that half-baked Beetlejuice, Babalegababa.” Not only was this moment timely and comedic gold, she really actually did describe him to the tee. This quote from Fiona proved she was going to be feisty right up until the very end.
[new page=I’ll put you in the fryer]
In this scene we see Queen and Papa Legba in what appears to be a type of Hell or Limbo. Queenie has traveled to the spirit world, (one of the tests of the Seven Wonders), in order to make a deal with Legba regarding killing off Delphine LaLaurie. In this Hell, Queenie is behind the counter back at the fried-chicken joint, Chubbies, she worked at before she went to the coven. Here Legba is waiting in line to get some chicken when a man tells him to hurry up at make an order to which he replies, “get in the back of the line or i’ll put you in the fryer.” How out of place Legba was in this situation and how calmly the man walked away made this quote hilarious to witness and took away the seriousness out of the situation.
[new page=atropa belladonna]
During this scene the eccentric Myrtle Snow is seen with a bouquet of flowers that she claims cause hallucinations which she promptly warns young Madison Montgomery of, when Zoe and Kyle end up walking in. Snow had warned them the previous episode to leave the coven because Goode was going to kill them, so when she sees them return she is nothing but angry and shocked. “Please tell me this is a hallucination driven by my bouquet of atropa belladonna!”exclaims Snow at the sight of the two returning.
[new page= Don’t need a man]
After the Axe Man has just revealed to the rest of the coven that he has killed Goode, the young witches go on the war hunt for him to seek revenge. Young Kyle tries to tell the girls that he will go and kill the Axe Man to which Misty Day replies,”We really don’t need a man to protect us!” This is completely true as it goes on to show that all of the young witches swarm in on the Axe Man stabbing him relentlessly. Never get in the way of a coven of witches according to this episode.
