Most people would kill for a chance to see Billy Joel in concert-- what better time than now?
Joel will perform at Fenway Park for the first very first time. He hasn’t headlined a tour in Boston in “the longest time”—okay, five years. June 26 will end the five year streak, according to nesn.com
Stadium concerts, though, are no stranger to Joel. He’s played Shea Stadium and numerous sporting venues, including Madison Square Garden where the Bronx native pianist has played numerous shows recently.
Joel has been inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame and has won six Grammy awards. Although the Piano Man hasn’t put out in album in over 20 years, he is dedicated to touring. Nearing age 65, Joel is persistent with his monthly Madison Square Garden concerts and will continue to play more ballparks in Washington, Chicago, Philadelphia and D.C.
