New details have resurfaced as of late in the 2007 disappearance of 3-year-old, Madeleine McCann, who went missing from the apartment she was staying at while on vacation with her family in Praia da Luz, Algarve. British police have flown down to Portugal in an effort to discuss and possibly tract down three new suspects in the case reports Fow News .
The three suspects are believed to be apart of a local burglary group that made numerous calls back in forth to one another the night McCann went missing.
17 days prior to the disappearance of the girl, two incidents at the Ocean Club Complex where the McCann family would be staying occurred involving burglary and attempted burglary said BBC News.
No new arrests have been made since the case eliminated McCann’s parents, Kate and George, as possible suspects. As previously reported , the authorities were preparing to take the case to Portugal to investigate further after it had been closed by Portuguese police in 2008.
