Bryan Singer has been very active on his Twitter channel with news surrounding his latest project, X-Men: Apocalypse and he is now providing more details surrounding the film.
Singer explained that he is currently in negations to direct Apocalypse but nothing is finalized. He is currently working on writing and producing the story. "We’re in the process. We’re trying to figure it out, schedules. My desire would be to direct it," said Singer.
Singer also provided more details as to the plot of the film. "“It will also address historical mutant-cy, meaning the deep past, mutant origins and things like that. It’s something that’s always intrigued me when we think about our Gods and our history and miracles and powers," Singer detailed.
Singer also explained that Apocalypse will not be a sequel or a prequel to Days of Future Past it will be more of an "in-between," Hit Fix added.
Entertainment Weekly reported that it is still not decided if the end credits of Days of Future Past will feature a teaser for Apocalypse.
The X-Men franchisee will continue in May of this year with X-Men: Days of Future Past set to be released on May 23.
