Chick-fil-A lives up to the company’s standards when the employees help out nearby drivers stuck in a snow storm.
According to the Examiner, the owner, Mark Meadows, passed out sandwiches to as many people as he could on the Alabama highway during a snow storm.
That shows commitment not only to the company, Chick-fil-A, but also to a high standard of morality. He and the employees could have stayed inside the warm restaurant enjoyed a full meal and entertainment. They chose to put the needs of others first and help out the community.
In an interview with FOX News, manager Audrey Pitt said, “We were just trying to follow the model that we’ve all worked under for so long and the model that we’ve come to love. There was really nothing else we could have done but try to help people any way we could.”
So when workers at Chick-fil-A say, “It’s my pleasure,” when handling customers, we all now know that they truly mean that statement.
