Ed Sheeran is giving fans a hint as to what they can expect on his sophomore album, which is the follow up to the critically and fan loved debut album, +.

Sheeran tweeted the following cryptic message to his fans.

MTV reported that it did not take long for fans to speculate that since his first album title was + that his second album would be called =.

Details about the upcoming album from Sheeran's album have been coming slowly. Sheeran has tweeted to fans that Taylor Swift has already listened to all of his tracks on the album and that he is currently working with super-producer Rick Rubin. "The A Team" singer even reviled that he was even inspired by pizza.

2013 was a busy year for Sheeran, who sold out Madison Square Garden, went on tour with Taylor Swift, topped the charts with their debut "Everything Has Changed" and teamed up with Peter Jackson.

Sheeran was recently featured on the soundtrack to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. HIs music video for "I See Fire," already has over eight million views on YouTube.

Contact Music reported that Sheeran was slightly upset following not receiving an Oscar nomination for best original song for "I See Fire" but his fans on Twitter flooded his feed with support for the single.
