Eric Church is country music resident bad boy, rock 'n' roll inspired and edgy musician. Church is currently working on his next studio album and has released the first single for fans.

"Give Me Back My Hometown" has the traditional sound that Church's fans have come to know and love. The sound includes his gritty vocals and strong guitar use. The song has a very organic and natural feel from Church, who seems to be returning to his original musical roots.

The song tells the story of someone post a breakup who wants to return to his hometown but feels the presence of his ex on every street and that is captured in the video which focuses on a roadside funeral in what looks to be a desert.

For Breaking Bad fans, watch the video closely Steven Michael Quezada, known for playing DEA agent Hank Schrader’s partner Steven Gomez, makes an appearance in the video from Church.

It feels like fans are getting a window into more of Church's life and hometown with this video. Church has said that these videos will become part of a larger story so fans will have to wait and see what comes next from Church and this upcoming album.
