Egypt’s military council has given Field Marshal Abdel Fattah el Sisi the go ahead on Monday to run for President after the Interim President announced that there would be an early election due to the clash between police and Islamist protestors last weekend.

Reuters reported that Sisi will have to resign as defense minister, and leave the military. Sisi has gained many followers, especially after he outlined a plan to recover Egypt from its previous turmoil. Fans of the Field Marshal feel that he will stabilize the country.

When a new president is elected, he will face the war against terrorism. Wait for what is coming.”

Sisi is known to crack the whip against groups that oppose him, accuses the Islamist protesters. They say he is to blame for the 1,000 Islam people who have died recently.
