Robert Marucci, an 18-year-old student at Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Florida, has been allowed to go back to school after being suspended. He said that he was suspended after it was discovered that he appeared in pornographic videos and photos.

Marucci told WKMG in Orlando earlier this week that officials found out that he did an X-rated movie. However, the district decided that this was the wrong thing to do after its investigation and allowed him back to school on Wednesday.

“No child would ever be suspended for a job that they have outside of the school environment,” district spokeswoman Michelle Irwin said. Administrators also told the station that they were investigating claims that Marucci threatened students who were taunting him after they found out what he does after school hours.

“He was bullied, he was threatened,” his mother, Melissa Lieb told WPLG, reports CNN. She claims that the school principal suspended her son because of his porn activities.

“I think that it is Dr. (Stephanie) Soliven's morals and her personal beliefs and I don't think that this is anybody's business except for my son's,” Lieve said. “The children at the school found (the porn), and she didn't do anything to stop it.”

Lieb claims that Sullivan even told her, “He was expelled due to his explicit lifestyle career.”

Marucci had told WKMG that he took the job to help his mother financially. He does have some supporters at the school, who have tried to ensure that he graduates in May.
