The German paper Die Welt plans to publish several letters written by Heinrich Himmler, one of the Nazis responsible for the Holocaust.

Welt recently published seven pages of excerpts from the collection of letters, recipes and photos that are all believed to come from Himmley, Fox News reports. The paper plans to publish more of these unseen notes in an eight-part series over the upcoming prints.

According to the Huffington Post, Welt worked with an Israeli film director, Vanessa Lapa, who originally approached the paper with these documents. Lapa plans to debut a documentary on the letters during the Berlin International Film Festival, which will take place next month.

Welt commented that the letters don’t change the overall idea of Himmler or the Nazi era, but they should provide some light on who the SS leader was.
