Summer festivals are already in full swing and it's only January. The lineup for the upcoming Governors Ball which will be held on Randall's Island Park, will run June 6-8. The headliners for the three day festival include, Jack White, Outkast and Vampire Weekend.
This festival is now a star studded event, bands the headlined the festival last year such as Phenoix are now second headliners.
It is not a surprise that Outkast is featured during the festival, ever since the band has announced their comeback at Coachella, they have been scheduling shows and recently announced a full tour.
Also playing the Governors Ball will be, Janelle Monae, Foster The People, Disclosure, Skrillex, J. Cole, La Roux and Tyler the Creator, Idolator reported.
The festival had a unique way of announcing their headliners and other acts, the news appeared as an ad in the New York Times newspaper earlier today.
USA Today added that tickets for the festival go on sale today.
