Harrison Ford will be joining Blake Lively and Ellen Burstyn in a new film. According to Variety, The Age of Adaline is the story of a young woman who stops aging after an accident. After years of living on her own, she meets a very special man who could change the course of her future.
The sweeping romance will be released by Lionsgate. Partnering with Lionsgate on the film are Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Lakeshore Entertainment. Lakeshore president Gary Lucchesi told according The Hollywood Reporter, "We are very excited to be working with Harrison Ford. He's one of the great actors of our time, and will be perfect for the role of William in The Age of Adaline.
Harrison Ford has been popular for years, and has taken on roles in films like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Air Force One, Six Days Seven Nights, and most recently, Anchorman 2.
The Age of Adaline will be directed by Lee Toland Krieger. J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz penned the original screenplay, with revisions by Allison Burnett. It will begin shooting in March.
