The American Idol alum released a video for her new dance beat driven single “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)” which features rapper T.I.

The performance video features Hudson singing with dancers around her, flashing through different scenes of the singer surrounded by half-naked men, statues of panthers, dancers in matching sunglasses and jackets, and alone in a neon-lit cell outfitted like a scantily clad Janelle Monáe, just to name a few.

T.I.’s slick rhymes Dancing and we play around, you know you got me/ And then the feelings come raining down all over my body/ It tingles here, tingles there, ooh it tingles everywhere/ That's why I never find the words to describe takes the R&B dance track to a more risqué side without being dirty, working perfectly off of Hudson’s higher range vocals in the background.

Hudson took seventh-place on the third season American Idol, which was probably the best thing that happened for her career. Her breakthrough performance came in acting and singing, winning numerous awards for her role in the movie Dreamgirls, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, a Golden Globe, and SAG Award. Two years later she won the Grammy for Best R&B Album for her self-titled debut.

Hudson’s “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)” is the first single off of her yet-untitled. She told MTV of the new material, "It's colorful. It's very uplifting and it's different — very different."
