Talk about in the spirit of giving, singer/actress Jennifer Hudson bought her longtime friend and assistant an entire house for Christmas.
According to Reuters the Oscar winner gave her assistant Walter Williams a house for Christmas by handing him a deed to the house.
She also posted a video of giving the gift on her Instagram which shows Williams yelling and screaming for joy, and probably disbelief, of the gift from the former Idol contestant. "My assistant Walter's reaction when he found out I was buying him a house for Christmas!" captioned the video which also shows Williams walking over and tackling Hudson as he hugs her.
The Metro U.K. noted Williams and Hudson have been friends since childhood, and he encouraged her to sing outside the church, even as they were in middle school. Williams was one of the people Hudson leaned on after the death of her mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew, who were murdered by her sister’s estranged husband in 2008.
