Jennifer Nettles has claimed the number one spot on the Billboard Top Country charts. Nettles' first solo album, That Girl sold 54,000 copies. She landed at number 5 on the Billboard Album charts.

This album from Nettles picks up where Sugarland left off. Every album that Sugarland has released has landed in the top five on the country charts, spanning from 2005 to 2010. Sugarland had three albums debut at number one on the charts, Billboard reported. The last album, The Incredible Machine from the duo debuted at number one.

Nettles beat out Rosanne Cash’s River & the Thread, Taste of Country. River & the Thread sold 19,000 sold and took the second spot on the country charts.

Newcomer Jon Pardi took the third place on the charts with his debut album, Write You a Song.

Nettles is the second woman on the country charts to debut at the top spot. Wynonna's self-titled 1992 solo debut holds the other honor.
