To realize a dream of working with esteemed director Martin Scorsese, Jonah Hill reportedly accepted a large pay cut to $60,000 for his part in The Wolf of Wall Street.

According to Daily Mail, Hill revealed to radio show host Howard Stern on Tuesday that he earned a minimum wage of $60,000 for the roughly seven-month shoot.

"They gave me the lowest amount of money possible, that was their offer," the 30-year-old actor said, "And I said, 'I will sign the paper tonight. Fax me the papers tonight.'"

According to The Huffington Post, Hill's costar Leonardo Dicaprio made about $10 million as the lead, in contrast to Hill's meager sum.

"'It was the minimum. I think SAG minimum is something like $60,000 - before commissions and taxes,' he said.

The role has earned him his second Oscar nomination for his portrayal as corrupt stockbroker Donnie Azoff. Hill says that he was eager to accept the role regardless of his payment, simply to work with Scorsese.

"I would sell my house and give him all my money to work for him," added Hill. "This isn't what you make money for. I would've done anything in the world. I would do it again in a second."
