In the mist of pop singer Justin Bieber’s Miami partying, and the following arrest, he skipped out on other pending legal issues against him in California.
Bieber, 19, was set to report for a deposition in Los Angeles Thursday morning for a lawsuit filed by photographer Jeffrey Binion, USA Today reports. This case relates back to an incident in 2013 in which Binion claims Bieber’s bodyguard shoved him, allegedly causing his camera to be damaged.
Beiber’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, attempted to file an emergency motion in order to postpone the meeting, but it was denied. Binion’s attorney, Mark DiCowden, told The Sun Sentinel that he plans to file a motion to hold Bieber in contempt of court for not appearing at court.
The singer was arrested in Miami early Thursday morning for DUI, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest. He left the prison later that morning after posting bond set at $2,500.
Bieber is currently headed back to Los Angeles.
