Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 takeover continues on through 2014. He went home with three awards Sunday night at the 2014 Grammy Awards. However, he was not there to accept the awards in person. Take a look at each of his winning songs and their accompanying videos.
As one of the biggest rap songs of 2013, “Holy Grail” took over all radio stations with nonstop replays. Jay-Z released the song as his first single off of his impressive twelfth album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. Justin Timberlake served as a featured artist on the song, making it one of the best collaborations between pop and hip hop music. The song won for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. This was the only televised category that Timberlake won.
“Pusher Love Girl” was never released as a single, but the song did not go unnoticed. It was able to take home Best R&B Song this year at the Grammys. Off The 20/20 Experience: Part One, the song lasts a whopping eight minutes and two seconds. It incorporates different R&B rhythms throughout the song while maintaining Timberlake’s new pop sound.
Justin Timberlake surprised the world with his first new music release since 2006. “Suit & Tie” won Best Music Video for its modern take on a classic, black and white performance video. Timberlake collaborated with Jay-Z to make this song one of his most successful.
