This summer’s X Games in Austin, Texas just announced Kanye West will be one of the main headliner’s for the X Music, happening the same weekend June 5 through June 8.

According to the X Music website, the concerts will be held at the Austin360 Amphitheater, which accommodates 14,000 in their reserved section, and another 6,700 on their lawn section. Other acts confirmed for the weekend are The Flaming Lips, Gary Clark Jr., punk legends Bad Religion, EDM act Pretty Lights and Slightly Stoopid to name a few.

According to the Huffington Post the “live music capitol of the world” was chosen to host the X Games for the next three years. Austin was in a list of four finalists that included Charlotte, North Carolina, Chicago, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan.
The Winter X Games being held in Aspen, Colorado, are set to begin Wednesday January 22 and run through Sunday January 26. Events include several snowboarding contests, much like skateboarding during the Summer X Games, with fan favorite Super Half-pipe where stars like Shaun White have dominated the sport. ESPN and ABC will be airing all the events over the 5 day period.
