Lindsay Lohan made an appearance at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday, where she announced she will produce and star in the upcoming film Inconceivable.
The 27-year-old actress, who’s trying to get her career back on track after another stint in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction issues, is also currently filming her docu-series for Oprah Winfrey’s OWN.
"I've never had the honor of coming here before ... to bring something to the table, which is starting fresh for me," she said during her announcement, The AP reports. "It's a nice change to be back among people that are in the industry that I've been in since I was a kid."
Producer and financier of the project, Randall Emmett, made an appearance with Lohan, calling her "one of the greatest young actresses of her generation." The film will be released by Lionsgate.
Inconceivable will be a psychological thriller, and Lohan revealed she would “die” to get American Horror Story star Jessica Lange on board.
First Showing notes the film will be a follow-up to The Canyons, which she also executive produced.
