Up and coming music sensation Lorde has become good friends with female superstar Taylor Swift, the two are even texting friends.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine the "Royals" singer explained that she and Swift often send texts back and forth. The two discuss gift giving and home decorating tips, Entertainment Wise added.
This friendship might seem a little strange after Lorde publicly dissed Swift saying, "Taylor Swift is so flawless and so unattainable, and I don't think it's breeding anything good in young girls."
Swift handled the comment with class and has moved on from the incident. The "Everything Has Changed" singer even sent roses to Lorde when "Royals" became the number one single in the United States.
In the interview Lorde also explained that she will always stand by what she says if she feels it is the right thing. She also added that she isn't going to change who she is to fit into a cookie cutter form from the music industry. US Magazine detailed.
Lorde even when into detail about the cyber bullying that happened when pictures of her and her current boyfriend leaked online. "[I'm] not completely impervious to insult," she says. "I'm a human being," said Lorde.
