Lorde is set to perform at the BRIT Awards in London. Lorde will perform on stage with the U.K. electronic duo, Disclosure.
According to Variety, last year’s BRIT Awards hosted such celebrities as Justin Timberlake, Ben Howard, and Mumford & Sons. This year’s BRIT awards will host such performers as Bruno Mars, Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Rudimental, and Ellie Goulding.
Lorde performed at this year’s 56th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The singer, songwriter originally from New Zealand made a splash with her album, Pure Heroine. She was nominated for four Grammys this year including Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Song of the Year for “Royals.” Lorde won both Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her debut single "Royals".
The BRIT Awards take place on Feb. 19. Like some award shows, some of the honors are given in advance. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Smith has already received the annual Critics' Choice Award for 2014.
