Three additional artists were confirmed to be performing at the upcoming Sunday night Grammy Awards.
Madonna, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and Miranda Lambert will each take the stage, reports Rolling Stone. Madonna will perform on her own, but Armstrong and Lambert will play together as a tribute for the recently passed Everly Brothers' Phil Everly.
Armstrong being involved in an Everly Brothers' tribute is unsurprising as the Green Day frontman previously released a track-for-track rerecording of the Everly Brothers' album Songs Our Daddy Taught Us with singer Norah Jones.
Both Armstrong and Lambert are nominated for a Grammy, with the former for Best Music Film for Green Day's documentary ¡Cuatro!. Lambert has been nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for the single "Mama's Broken Heart."
According to The Associated Press, Madonna's performance wasn't too unexpected as it had surfaced as a rumor for some time.
Other musical artists or acts that will perform during the 56th annual Grammy Awards included Dave Grohl, MEtallica, Robin Thicke and Chicago, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr - who will play separately.
The awards ceremony will be hosted by LL Cool J at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
