A Newark, New Jersey man was arrested after police discovered he had a fast food bag full of drugs.
According to the Newark Patch, the man allegedly had a Popeyes bag full of crack, heroin and marijuana.
The Star Ledger has reported that Essex County detectives said they witnessed Anthony Taylor make a drug transaction using the Popeyes bag.
Sheriff Armando Fontoura said that when police searched the suspect they found 80 envelopes of heroin, 68 bags and vials of crack cocaine and 39 bags of marijuana.
It is not clear why the 25-year-old chose a Popeyes chicken bag to conceal the narcotics.
Taylor is being charged with multiple drug violations, but the most serious offense he faces is intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school. In New Jersey, that charge carries a mandatory prison term, even if the defendant is a first-time offender.
Taylor was taken to the county jail and is being held on $35,000 bail.
