A man in Waco, Texas allegedly stabbed his girlfriend after she brought home the wrong food order.
According to the Waco Tribune, police have said that Michael Corsey stabbed his girlfriend after he asked her to bring home a chicken sandwich and she instead brought him a pizza.
Police responded to a call at the home after Corsey became upset about his incorrect lunch order and stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife. She was also allegedly struck in the face and choked, the Tribune notes.
The Associated Press has reported that the McLennan County jail records showed that Corsey is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, refused to be taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Unfortunately violent attacks over food are not all that uncommon, just last week a pregnant woman allegedly attacked her roommate over a butter dispute. She later blamed the attack on hormones.
