Martin Scorsese’s new documentary will be seen in Berlin this year. His newest work, a documentary about the New York Review of Books, will get its first work-in-progress screening at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival.

The documentary is co-directed by David Tedeschi. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tedeschi is known for working on previous Scorsese projects, George Harrison: Living in the Material World and Rolling Stones concert film, Shine A Light. Scorsese, Tedeschi, and producer Margaret Bodde will attend the film festival.

Berlinale Director Dieter Kosslick told Variety, “We’re very pleased that we’ll be closing this year’s Berlinale Special with this highlight.”

Scorsese brought Shutter Island to Berlin in 2010. He is known for bold films like The Wolf of Wall Street, Gangs of New York, Kundun, and Goodfellas. His documentaries have also been successful. Shine a Light opened the 2008 festival in Berlin.

The Berlin Film Festival celebrates art-house and politically challenging films. The 64th Berlin International Film Festival will be held from Feb. 6 – 16.
