With the likely heavyweight blockbuster and still untitled Batman vs. Superman film moved back to 2016, Disney has decided to move Marvel's Ant-Man up a couple weeks to that spot on July 17, 2015.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ant-Man was originally scheduled to bow on July 31, 2015. The Paul Rudd-led film will now be competing against the Peter Pan origin film Pan, which took the place of Warner Bros. superhero film.

The movie is being directed by Shaun of the Dead's Edgar Wright, while Rudd plays the lead role who takes over as Ant-Man, while veteran actor Michael Douglas plays the first Ant-Man and the one who developed the technology, Hank Pym. American Hustle actor Michael Pena also has a role, but it's currently unknown.
