Mary Kay Letourneau was back in jail on Monday after failing to appear in court in Tukwila, Wa. after receiving a driving citation in 2013.

A misdemeanor arrest warrant was authorized back in September after Letourneau failed to appear in court stemming from a citation in January 2013 where she was found to have no proof of insurance or license and had expired vehicle registration after she being pulled over, reports the Seattle Times.

Letourneau was once a teacher, but was infamously arrested in the 1990s after it was revealed that she had been having sex with one of her young students, according to The Associated Press.

The student, Vili Fualaau, was only in the sixth grade at the time, while she was 34 years of age. The court case was huge and was popular for tabloid articles.

She was convicted of rape and sent to prison. When she got out of jail, Letourneau married her former student in 2005 when he was then 22.
