When Michelle Williams made a cameo in Beyoncé’s music video for “Superpower,” nobody thought she would be embarrassed.
According to an interview in US Weekly, when Williams teamed up with her former Destiny’s Child mate, she didn’t realize the other songs on her new album would be so revealing.
While at the 5th Annual Essence Black Women in Music Event on Jan. 22, she told the magazine, “I was telling someone on the way here how I was laughing.”
However, the “Bootylicious” singer wasn’t sure if her giggles were from shyness or embarrassment.
“I’m like, ‘That’s private girl,’” she said. “We aren’t supposed to know all that but she is married and has produced a baby, and we know what you have to do to produce a baby so, okay!”
In December, Beyoncé released an unexpected self-titled album that remained number one on Billboard’s top ten for weeks. The album included videos for each song including the single “Drunk In Love” with husband, Jay-Z.
