A man, who had residents in southeast Michigan on edge over a three-day spree when he randomly shot at vehicles along Interstate 96, has been found guilty.

According to the Associated Press, Raulie Casteel was convicted of terrorism Wednesday after the jury did not buy his claim that the shootings were impulsive, wild, uncontrolled delusions and paranoia.

On Tuesday, it was reported that the jury asked the judge if they could hear a rerun of the 44-year-old’s recorded testimony. They needed to find Casteel guilty of premeditation in order to convict him on the terrorism charge.

The Livingston Daily reported that the jury not only found him guilty of the charge in connection with the shootings in Oakland, Ingham, Shiawassee and Livingston counties, but also on a related weapons charges.

Casteel never denied that he shot over two dozen vehicles along the 1-96 corridor back in 2012.

"The victims of his shooting spree received justice," state Attorney General Bill Schuette said.

Casteel will be sentenced in March. He faces life in prison.
