Miley Cyrus does not want anyone to think she disrespected Beyonce in a new interview with Love Magazine. Gossip sites have claimed that Cyrus slammed Beyonce, saying that she had been out of the music industry too long. But Cyrus insists that these quotes were all made up.

Cyrus recently sat down for an interview with the U.K. magazine for its new issue, which will not be published until March. However, sites claimed that they had the interview already and that it included one quote in which Cyrus says, “She's so talented and I think she's at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that's what I bring to the game now, new blood. I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I'm just the best.”

According to MTV News, another fake quote claimed that Cyrus called herself the “total package” and the “only white female singer that could fill” a void left open by Beyonce as she becomes a mother.

“All things must start and end and I hope to have the same success as other icons in the game when my run is over. But for now, my run is just starting,” Cyrus allegedly said.

Cyrus has said that this was all made up. A rep for the magazine confirmed to MTV News that the quotes aren’t real. It’s not even clear where the quotes originated from.

“That quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got "the looks and the curves I'm just better!" Bahahahhaha,” Cyrus said in a tweet. “How are people allowed to make up s**t & then out quotes around it saying I said that s**t! WTF!!?!”

The “Adore You” singer called it a “nightmare,” vowing to find out how these quotes got out there.

Cyrus performed on ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Tuesday night. She sang “Adore You” and “Wrecking Ball,” which are both on her new album, Bangerz.
