The Screen Actors Guild Awards are being handed out on Saturday night and Lupita Nyong'o, Modern Family and others walked away with top awards, with many still to be announced.
The first award of the night was for best female actor in a supporting role and Lupita Nyong'o managed win based on her very first movie role in 12 Years A Slave, reports the Los Angeles Times.
In her speech, Nyong'o thanked director Steve McQueen and said, "Being recognized by your fellow actors is an honor of the highest order."
Modern Family won for best comedy series for the fourth consecutive time. Julia Louis-Dreyfus pulled out the win for outstanding female actor in a TV comedy role, beating out Julie Bowen from Modern Family and others.
According to USA Today, which is live updating as the awards are announced, Modern Family's Ty Burrell did manage to win best male actor in a comedy series. Helen Mirren was selected as the best female actor in a TV movie or miniseries for her role in Phil Spector.
Some of the big awards are still to be announced, like best male and female actors in leading roles and best cast.
