Singer Morrissey shows no sign of retiring. He recently signed a deal with Harvest Records and will release an album later this year.
Producer Joe Chiccarelli will be collaborating with the recording artist for the new album. Songs have not yet been chosen, and it’s not yet known if "People Are the Same Everywhere," performed at last month's Nobel Peace Prize Concert, would be included. Morrissey’s last album was Years of Refusal, released in 2009.
Morrissey is also currently working on a novel and wrote a popular autobiography last year. The British icon titled the work, “Autobiography.” Morrissey, 54, said that the book "has been more successful than any record I have ever released," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Morrissey was brought up in Manchester in the Sixties, according to the Daily Mail. His bestseller included the self-pitying words that one would expect from the celebrity. He is known for his dramatic lyrics.
Morrissey was the lead singer of The Smiths, an indie band that released the studio album, “The Queen Is Dead.” He later became a solo artist. It was reported that Morrissey will tour later this year.
